Wasswa Rock ChildCare Ministries Uganda Limited was born out of a deep calling to serve the most vulnerable members of our community in Busaabala, Uganda—a suburban area near Kampala.
Our founder, Mr. Wasswa Patrick, witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by orphaned children, vulnerable youth, and elderly people who had been left behind by society. With limited resources but an abundance of faith and love, he began reaching out to those in need.
What started as small acts of kindness—sharing meals, offering words of encouragement, and providing basic necessities—has grown into a ministry that touches hundreds of lives. Today, Wasswa Rock ChildCare Ministries stands as a beacon of hope, providing care, education support, spiritual guidance, and opportunities for a brighter future.
Our name carries deep meaning: "Rock" represents the solid foundation we build on—faith in God—and the strength we aim to give to every child and person we serve.
Everything we do is rooted in these core principles that define who we are and how we serve.
We approach every person with empathy and love, understanding that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness.
Our work is grounded in Christian faith. We believe that with God, all things are possible and that faith moves mountains.
We believe in the power of togetherness. Transforming lives requires the collective effort of the entire community.
We don't just provide for today—we equip people with skills, confidence, and opportunities for a better tomorrow.
Mr. Wasswa Patrick is the founder and Managing Director of Wasswa Rock ChildCare Ministries Uganda Limited. His journey into ministry work began with a simple yet powerful realization: that the children and elderly in his community needed someone to stand up for them.
With a heart full of compassion and a spirit guided by faith, Patrick started this ministry from the ground up. He personally visited families, identified those in need, and used his own resources to begin providing support.
Today, Patrick leads the ministry with the same passion and dedication that inspired its creation. His vision is to see every vulnerable child in Busaabala and beyond have access to love, education, healthcare, and the opportunity to know God's love.

Wasswa Rock ChildCare Ministries is first and foremost a Christian ministry. Our faith informs everything we do.

Mr. Wasswa Patrick felt a deep calling from God to serve the vulnerable children and elderly in Busaabala. He began by visiting families and understanding their needs.
Wasswa Rock ChildCare Ministries Uganda Limited was formally registered, bringing structure and vision to the work of supporting vulnerable communities.
The ministry grew to support over 100 children, provide regular meals, distribute school supplies, and launch youth empowerment programs.
Today, we're building partnerships, growing our team, and planning for expanded facilities to serve even more children, youth, and elderly people in need.

Our ministry is based in Busaabala, a suburban area near Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. This location allows us to serve both urban and peri-urban communities where many vulnerable families reside.
